Profile: Bonecrusher
Allegiance: Decepticon, Constructicon
Bonecrusher is an artist when it comes to destruction, and an integral part of the Construction subgroup. While his exact origins are unknown, the earliest record of Bonecrusher states that he and his fellow Constructicons built marvels on Cybertron, including the beautiful Crystal City. Bonecrusher, along with the other Constructicons befriended Crystal City's Guardian, Omega Supreme. The Constructicons were reportedly captured and reprogrammed by a device called the Robo-Smasher, which caused them to join the Decepticons. Their first mission was to destroy one of their greatest creations; Crystal City. Bonecrusher and the other Constructicons tricked Omega Supreme into leaving his post, and demolished the city.
Omega Supreme pursued his former friends, convinced that he could reprogram them. The Guardian captured the Constructicons, but did not expect how much they had changed. Bonecrusher and the other five Consructicons could now merge into a single giant robot: Devastator. Devastator unleashed the Robo-Smasher on Omega Supreme. Omega blasted the Robo-Smasher, but the Constructicons escaped. Omega Supreme swore revenge upon the Constructicons and attacked them at every opportunity. So greatly were Bonecrusher and his comrades harrassed that they chose to flee into space to escape Omega Supreme.
After Millions of years Bonecrusher and the Constructicons found their way to Earth, where they rejoined Megatron. There Bonecrusher assisted the other Constructicons in stealing the components for, his fellow Constructicon, Scrapper's latest invention: a device that would combine the abilities contained within the Decepticons' Power Rectifier Chips. The invention would allow Megatron to cheat in a duel with Optimus Prime, the Autobot commander. In order to prevent the Autobot computer, Teletraan-1, from revealing their ruse, Megatron dispatched the Constructicons to infiltrate the Autobot Volcano Headquarters and destroy Teletraan-1. Bonecrusher and his Constructicon cohorts were intercepted by the Dinobots, and a firefight ensued. The Dinobots had a difficult time battling Devastator, and the Constructicons, along with the other Decepticons, were forced back into a lava pit by a gigantic illusionary Autobot, generated by Hound.
Bonecrusher returned again to assist Megatron in using the Transfixatron to trap the Autobots in their vehicle modes. The Autobots use the Transfixatron against Devastator, forcing the giant Decepticon to separate into his component beings. Later, Bonecrusher and the other Constructicons were victims of mind-control via Chip Chase and Wheeljack's latest inventions; the Dominator Disks. The devices forced Bonecrusher and the Constructicons to side with the Autobots, until Megatron used an Electronic Disruptor to negate the effects of the Dominator Disks. Devastator was driven temporarily mad, but the combination of the Dominator Disks and the Electronic disruptor allowed the Constructicons to regain their sanity, and even save the Earth from a Decepticon plot gone awry. Afterward the Constructicons retained their loyalty to the Decepticons.
Bonecrusher also assisted in Megatron's takeover of New York City. Bonecrusher and his comrades lowered the Empire State Building into the depths of the Earth, replacing it with a gigantic Decepticon Tower. Optimus Prime is captured by the Decepticons, and Megatron allows the Constructicons to use parts of Optimus Prime in their various projects, including an Alligaticon. After Optimus Prime is rescued, Optimus battled Devastator atop the Decepticon tower. Devastator was defeated and New York City was returned to normal, but that was far from being the last of Bonecrusher. In a treacherous move, the Constructicons helped in a coup to oust Megatron by Starscream, Astrotrain and Blitzwing. After Starscream was also eliminated, the Constructicons built a huge Highway Maze for Blitzwing in return for an equal share of Decepticon leadership. Blitzwing and Astrotrain betrayed the Constructicons, causing a free-for-all battle between not only the usurpers, but Megatron and Starscream as well. Megatron came out on top and chose to spare the lives of his treacherous warriors. In later adventures Bonecrusher participated in an assault upon Omega Supreme, after he was made impervious by Electrum, as well as assisting in the recovery of the lost Decepticon Spacecruiser and its powersource, The Heart of Cybertron. When the Earth-bound Decepticons fell ill from a lack of Cybertonium Bonecrusher stood guard in front of the Spacebridge, alongside his Constructicon brothers, as new shipments of the Cybertronian element arrived, though they were unable to keep the Autobots' human allies, Spike and Carly from hijacking the Spacebridge and stealing some of the element for the Autobots.
More noteworthy was the Constructicons' rematch with Omega Supreme. They battled their old adversary on what they thought was an asteroid (but was really an metallic alien's egg), and later back on Earth. Omega Supreme was denied the killing stroke against the Constructicons, though, when he had to save San Francisco from the alien creature he had inadvertently unleashed from the asteroid. Later the Constructicons tricked the Autobots Grapple and Hoist into believing that they had defected form the Decepticons and assisted in building Grapple's Solar Power Tower. Upon completion, the Constructicons promptly betrayed the Autobots and turned the tower over to Megatron. A battle ensued and the tower was destroyed when the Autobots caused Devastator to fall into the tower. As Devastator, the Constructicons battled and were defeated by Starscream's Combaticon combiner, Bruticus.
Years passed and the Decepticons were eventually expelled from Earth, though they completed the conquest of their homeworld, Cybertron. The Constructicons participated in the great assault of Autobot City on Earth, where Megatron and Optimus Prime both fell. Bonecrusher was one of the trumpeteers at the miscarried coronation of Starscream soon afterward, when Starscream was destroyed by Galvatron. After the advent of Unicron, and the Autobot takeover of Cybertron, Bonecrusher fled with the other Decepticons to the planetCharr, where they lived a meager, defeated existence until they met the Quintessons. The Quintessons hired the Decepticons to attack the Autobots' new leader, Rodimus Prime, and after Galvatron's return the Constructicons built the massive Decepticon city-giant Trypticon beneath a human city.
Afterwards the Constructicons participated in several space battles, particularly on the lost Autobot colony of Paradron and the musical alien world of Eurhythma. Bonecrusher and the Constructicons were last seen in the attack to take the Key to the Plasma Energy Chamber.
Current Status: Unknown, possibly lost in space aboard Scorponok.
