Profile: Bluestreak

Allegiance: Autobot

Bluestreak is a very talkative Autobot who served as gunner aboard Optimus Prime's ill-fated energy expedition. He was among the crew members who crashed and lay dormant for 4 million years. When the volcano they lay in erupted, it reactivated the Autobot Computer, Teletraan-1. While the Decepticons were the first to be revived Optimus Prime was revived soon afterward, and as a result, so were the other Autobots. Bluestreak was given a new mode which resembled and Earth vehicle.

As stated before, Bluestreak's most dominant trait is his love of talking. His friendly exterior, though hides a traumatize personality. Bluestreak is the sole-survivor of his home city-state, which was exterminated by the Decepticons. He is haunted by the sights he viewed then, and keeps his mind off of the horror by talking about anything inane or trivial.

At worst his talkativeness is annoying to the other Autobots, but it much better than his state if his inner demons catch up with him. He hates the Decepticons with a passion for what they did to his people. Bluestreak, though, tends to play a low profile in battle, because of his trauma. His function as gunner keeps him out of most of the hand-to-hand combat, instead keeping him a good distance away from the action, where he is safe from reliving the terrible flashbacks of his home being destroyed.

Despite his psychological weakness, Bluestreak played important roles in several Autobot operations on Earth. Most notable among his accomplishments is his victory in the Trans-Europe Express, with veteran racing driver Auggie Cahnay, as well as his assistance in the destruction of the Decepticon weather device known as the Pearl of Bahoudin. Bluestreak was last seen working outside of Autobot City just as the great siege of 2005 started.
