Profile: Blurr

Allegiance: Autobot

Blurr is the fastest land-based Autobot; the fastest car, the fastest runner, the fastest shooter and the fastest talker. Speed permeates everything about Blurr. In fact, he sometimes speaks so quickly that no one can understand him. He's generally cheerful when nothing is going on, but whenever there's pressure or battle, he's pessimistic and panicky.

He's best suited to his job as messenger and courier, as no Autobot on the ground can get from one point to another as fast as Blurr can, and the job keeps him out of most situations that would push him into a panicked frenzy. He's a good fighter when he's focused, but "focused" is usually the last word anyone would use to describe Blurr when he's in danger.

The exact date of Blurr's arrival on Earth is unknown, but he arrived sometime between 1986 and 2005 (before the great siege of Autobot City). He served under Ultra Magnus and battled the Decepticons when they laid siege to Autobot City in 2005. He travelled with Ultra Magnus, Springer, Arcee, Perceptor and Daniel Witwicky to the Planet of Junk, where they battled the Junkions. He was also present when Hot Rod arrived and made peace and an alliance with the Junkion leader, Wreck-Gar.

Blurr, along with Wheelie, was entrusted with transporting Metroplex's Transformation Cog to Autobot City. Their ship was damaged near Jupiter, after they were attacked by Galvatron, Cyclonus and the Sweeps. Blurr and Wheelie ended up stranded on one of Jupiter's moons, Io, where they battled strange exploding bat-creatures until EDC Captain Marissa Fairborne arrived and was stranded, too. The trio was attacked by the Predacons, but eventually they were all rescued by SkyLynx, and Autobot City received the Transformation Cog.

Blurr was also sent back in time 11 million years via the Quintesson Time Window, where he assisted in the slave rebellion that overthrew the Quintessons as the masters of Cybertron. Blurr, Wreck-Gar, Blaster and his cassettes helped Beta and her rebels battle the Quintessons and their Dark Guardians, before they were returned to their own time. Later, Blurr was captured and almost executed on the super-dense world of Zimojin.

After Optimus Prime was reactivated, Blurr had the injuries he sustained while battling the Hate-Plague infected Superion repaired , and he journeyed to Charr to help Optimus Prime recover the Swafford-Morgan Alloy from Galvatron. Blurr was also aboard the ship that was blasted to Nebulos by a bolt of Plasma Energy. There he was binary bonded with a Nebulan Rebel named Haywire and became a Targetmaster.

Current status: Blurr was last seen celebration at the beginning of the New Golden Age of Cybertron. It is likely that he is working alongside the Nebulan Rebels on Nebulos to free the planet from the grip of the Hive Machines.
