Profile: Basso Profundo

Allegiance: Autobot sympathizer

Basso Profundo is an alien from a planet whose entire society and technology is based upon harmonic frequencies and music. He is known for being stubborn and overbearing. He possesses a third of the Harmonic Weapon. Zeebop Scandana and Allegra each possess a third of the weapon. When the three combine their portion, the Harmonic Weapon produces a sound to energy transmutation, which is powerful enough to destroy heavenly bodies.

When Galvatron attempted to steer a comet to Earth, in hopes of destroying Metroplex, the comet went off course and threatened Basso Profundo's planet. The Autobots and Decepticons followed the source of the blast back to the planet, and an arms race erupted between the Autobots and Decepticons, as each group tried to gather the three parts of the Harmonic Weapon before the other. Allegra initially sided withthe Decepticons, hoping to be free of Basso Profundo's creative stifling, while Zeebop Scandana joined with the Autobots. Basso Profundo showed no interest in joing either side, but found that he had no choice when the Decepticons attacked his city. Allegra switched over to the Autobots after Zeebop Scandana was wounded in a Decepticon attack. The three aliens joined together to negate the Decepticons' use of the Harmonic Weapon, saving Autobot City.
