Profile: A-3

Allegiance: Pre-Autobot Rebel

A-3 was created as a Quintesson slave over 12 million years ago. He was one of the leaders in the rebellion that drove the Quintessons from Cybertron. The key act that led to the rebellion's success was when A-3 used his invention, the Coda Remote, to deactivate the major enforcers of Quintesson rule, the Dark Guardians.

In the year 2006, the Quintessons attempted to alter the timeline by sabotaging the ancient rebellion kidnapping A-3, and bringing him to the future. The Autobots Blurr, Blaster (along with his cassettes) and the Junkion leader Wreck-Gar are inadvertently sent back to the point from which A-3 was taken. There they assist Beta, while back in 2006, A-3 attempts with the help of Rodimus Prime and Superion to return to his past.

Together they thwart the Quintessons' plan, and preserve history and the victory of the Quintesson slaves.

After the rebellion, A-3 was modified and changed his name to Alpha Trion.
