Profile: Sir Atheling the Red

Allegiance: Autobot-sympathizer

Sir Atheling the Red was a feudal lord who encountered time travelling Autobots and Decepticons. Starscream, Rumble, Ramjet and Ravage allied themselves to Atheling's rival, Sir Wagond du Blackthorne, while Hoist, Warpath and Spike Witwicky allied with Atheling. The Decepticons kidnapped Atheling's daughter Nimoue, as Starscream sought to set up his own empire in medieval times, before Megatron and the Autobots would wake up in 1984. Blackthorne realized what the Decepticons were up to and turned on them. He rescued Nimoue, with the help of the Autobots and Spike. The Decepticons laid siege to Atheling's castle, but the Autobots were able to defeat them with the help of the wizard Beor. Atheling, Blackthorne and Nimoue bid the Autobots farewell as they returned to their own time.
