Profile: Alya
Allegiance: None
The Alya are the arachnid-like mobile extensions of the living webworld, Torculon. They spin the web-like circuitry that comprises the whole of the planet. Torculon has made itself reknown as the place to treat all manner of aliens with mental illnesses. When conventional therapies fail, the Alya are called forth. The Alya then connect the patient's mind to the memory core of the planet itself. Torculon then drains the madness from the subject's mind, and destroys the malfunctioning portions of the patient's mind, but physical and mental components. In some cases this results in a radical cure, and complete freedom from their mental disease, while in others it has been known to completely destroy the patient's mind, leaving them without a personality or memories; a lobotomized automaton.
The Alya's most famous patient was the insane Decepticon leader, Galvatron. Galvatron, though, broke free of Torculon's hold and gutted the planet's memory core. The treatment somewhat stabilized the chaotic Decepticon, but did not effect a proper cure.
Current Status: Unknown, as Torculon was left in ruin by Galvatron when he escaped.
Voice Actor: None
