Profile: Air Raid

Allegiance: Autobot

Air Raid was created along with the other Aerialbots in the depths of Cybertron in the year 1986. The ancient Autobot elder, Alpha Trion, gave his life, by merging with Vector Sigma, so that Air Raid and his brothers could be given life. He battled alongside his Aerialbot brothers and the other Autobots against the Decepticons, and more particularly, against the Stunticons. Air Raid was created with the ability to combine with the other Aerialbots to form the first Autobot combiner giant, Superion. Originally rebellious, Air Raid learned his lesson when he was sent back in time 9 million years, to the Golden Age of Cybertron, where an Autobot they befriended, Orion Pax, was almost killed by Megatron.

Air Raid, along with his brothers took Orion Pax to the Autobot medic, Alpha Trion, who rebuilt Orion Pax into Optimus Prime. Air Raid and the other Aerialbots became the sworn enemies of the Decepticons, and served the Autobot cause fervently.

Air Raid continued battling the Decepticons into the 21st century, as well as the Quintessons, after the ancient, overthrown masters of Cybertron returned. Air Raid helped foil the plans of the Quintessons, when the 5-faced aliens tried to uses subliminal messages to control the Junkions. He also was among the first to be infected by the Hate-Plague. Air Raid was last seen fighting and falling against a Decepticon invasion of Cybertron in 2007. Though others that fell with Air Raid were spotted alive and well later, the current status of Air Raid is unknown.
