Profile: Cerebros

Allegiance: Autobot

Cerebros despises the never-ending war between the Autobots and Decepticons. He would rather occupy his time with peaceful pursuits, but the civil war won't allow it. When the Autobot shuttle he was on was blasted by Plasma Energy and sent hurtling to Nebulos, he refused to get involved with the Nebulan Rebels and their civil war against the Hive.

Cerebros abandoned his Autobot comrades and trekked into the jungles of Nebulos. There, he found an abandoned city swarming with Hive Machines. He returned to the rebel base, damaged, but alive. Spike had him repaired, and after the Autobots lost the Key to the Plasma Energy Chamber to the giant Decepticon, Scorponok, he and Spike stayed behind on Nebulos. Spike and Cerebros discovered that the abandoned city was once the Hive's base, before they developed their mental powers. They discovered the Hive's old control center, and used the Hive Machines to rebuild the city into a giant Autobot: Fortress Maximus. They would become Headmasters, with Spike becoming Cerebros' head, and Cerebros transforming into Fortress Maximus' head

When they completed Fortress Maximus' construction, they left for Cybertron, to stop Scorponok. They arrived too late to stop Galvatron from opening the Plasma Energy Chamber, and after a short battle, Scorponok was blasted into space by a bolt of Plasma Energy, along with all of the Decepticons aboard. Spike was able to shut down the Plasma Energy Chamber, and used Vector Sigma to use the energy expelled to revitalize Cybertron. Cerebros, unwilling to fight anymore asked Spike to deactivate him, but once he saw the restored Cybertron, he gained a new optimism.

With the Decepticon threat gone, Cerebros, as well as the other Autobot Headmasters and Targetmasters were stationed on Nebulos in order to remove the last vestiges of the Hive's tyranny.

Current Status: On Nebulos, Battling Hive Machines
