Profile: Astoria Carlton Ritz

Allegiance: Autobot Sympathizer

Astoria Carlton-Ritz is the heiress and CEO of Hybrid Technologies (Hy-Tech, for short). When her father, the found of Hy-Tech died, she inherited the company and her father's fortune, including an elaborate metallic necklace. The Decepticons sought to abduct her in order to find out Hy-Tech's secret energy formula. Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge attempted several times to take the girl, but they were repeatedly thwarted by Powerglide. Astoria grew attached to the aerial Autobot, despite the fact that Astoria had an uncanny knack for causing machines to malfunction.

Eventually, though the Decepticons captured her and took her to the Decepticon's new Sub-Orbital Station. Megatron ordered Soundwave to extract the formula from her mind using the Psychoprobe, but the girl's affinity for breaking machines saved her, and gave Soundwave and Rumble a painful shock.

Astoria escaped and used her metallic necklace (which contained the secret formula) to short out the Sub-Orbital Station's controls, including shields and propulsion. Powerglide was able to get in and save her, but not before he set the station to crash into the Decepticons' Undersea Base.
